Southern African Magic is a 19-day tour that takes travellers on the ultimate safari to Zimbabwe, and Botswana before heading to South Africa for four days in Cape Town. You’ll visit the famous Hwange National Park – the largest game reserve in Zimbabwe, Botswana’s Chobe National Park, and the Okavango Delta. All of these locations have stunning landscapes and an abundance of wildlife. Finally, we head to South Africa’s beautiful Cape Peninsula, which hosts a rare combination of spectacular coastlines, scenic harbours, and incredible beaches.
By contrast our African Dawn tour covers Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. This tour offers the chance to see the great mountain gorilla in the wild and to experience Ethiopia’s extraordinary Timkat Festival, which celebrates the baptism of Christ in the Jordan River. Uganda and Rwanda are famous for their stunning scenery, particularly the incredible mountains and volcanoes and beautiful lakes and falls, while Ethiopia boasts an ancient culture which is much in evidence in the old cities of Gondar, Bahir Dar, Axum, and Lalibela. Many important churches and chapels are found here, most notably the ancient rock-hewn churches at Lalibela.
Pearls of the Indian Ocean is a remarkable 22-day tour that travels to the sparkling islands of Mauritius and Reunion, before arriving in the ecological wonderland of Madagascar. This unique island is endowed with an astonishing variety of flora and fauna, resulting from millions of years of evolution. You’ll visit the island’s pristine national parks, its spectacular highlands, and get up close and personal with its most famous inhabitants – the lemurs.
